Nintendo Freaks Button Mash
February 23rd '08 Edition!
This event is aimed at a 14+ event so there will be people from fourteen years of age on up. College age students are considered the maximum age though. Due to the age restrictions of the event, we will have T-rated (teen) and some M-rated (mature) games available for play. If anybody has any questions, please contact us via the email addresses found on the main site's Contact Us page. We'll happily answer any questions you may have.
BYOC! Bring Your Own Console!
This Button Mash is all about going bigger and better. And to do that, we need more hardware, controllers, games, and, of course, people to do this. So what we want folks to do is bring their own consoles and an accompying television. If you don't want to bring your console, bring a controller or something else that may be great for the event. At the very least, grab your DS or other portable gaming device and bring it along. Not everybody needs to bring something but if you are going to bring a console, please... bring a television! We only have so many to go around and can barely cover our own consoles (the retro machines will probably be getting only one television for three consoles... sad.). So bring the necessary components that a console requires. Power cord, A/V cords, an Ethernet cable for networking (Xbox 360 only), the console itself, any controllers, and lastly a television to match. To have as much fun as we can, we all need to pitch in.
We will be keeping track of who brings what. So please tell and show us what you have when you sign-in, so that we can mark down what you have and even mark what you bring with a fancy piece of tape. We don't want to see our stuff stolen or left behind, so we want to keep your stuff safe as well.
If you have any questions, email the staff or M. Kava via the Contact Us page. Thanks.
